Happy Friday Friends!
It is a GORGEOUS fall day here in Indiana and I'm feeling very blessed and grateful today. So how about a little love list to kick off the weekend?
1. The new Smash line from K&Co...
Oh my little scrapbooker's heart about exploded when I saw these amazing new books. Life has been way too hectic the past year or so to scrapbook but I think if I had one of these in my pretty little hands it would seem doable. The books come with a pen/glue stick and have pre-printed pages with fun graphics. I can't wait to get my hands on one!
2. This adorable spoon from Jessica N Designs...
I would love to have this cute little number to stir my morning coffee.
3. This quote...
"At the end of the day and at the end of my life, I want to know that I contributed more than I criticized."
Another excerpt from Brene Brown's blog. Love her. {here is the entire post}
4. This cute fall art idea from my friend Mandie...
Isn't it adorable? I think I need to do this with the boys.
5. And finally but certainly not least...OCTOBER!
{my favorite autumn tree in the parking lot at work}
Ahh how I love this month. I got engaged and married in this lovely month {8 years married on the 11th!}. This month of bright orange trees and clear blue skies...sweaters and boots...pumpkins and apple cider. I don't see how a month could get any lovelier.
The weather here is supposed to be beautiful all weekend so I'm excited about spending a lot of time outside with the boys and hopefully take a trip to the orchard. What are you loving today?
Ooh, that spoon is so cute! I love those handstamped spoons. And I'm jealous of your pretty fall trees!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up, Mandy- I'd love if you'd grab a button from my sidebar and link back so your readers can participate too!
Aww, I feel so special. Thanks for the love, Paris. :) Enjoy your fall beauty! Ours has peaked up here and the high winds today are doing away with what's left of the leaves. SADFACE.
ReplyDeleteI love the painting! What a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteJessica has such lovely designs! I always enjoy seeing her work.
ReplyDeleteThat painting idea is so sweet! It reminds me of something my siblings and I used to do. We would draw a tree trunk with limbs and then rip up colorful construction paper and glue it all over the branches. It was a fun autumn craft. (Plus, who doesn't enjoy ripping up some paper from time to time.) =)
You get to look at that tree every day?! Lucky!! I love the Fall!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog! Yes, the chalkboard is an old silver tray that was painted with chalkboard paint in the center (though, I didn't do it and not sure who did. My mom gave it to me). It's a very clever idea and one that would be easy to recreate!
I am a fellow hoosier!! Love fall in Indiana. That spoon is supa cute! After seeing the scrapbook stuff makes me wanna be a scrapper again!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for including my spoon in your post!! I am going to have to check out those books....sounds doable to me!!
