{artsy anthropology giveaway}

I'm so excited about today's giveaway friends!

My friend Paige from Artsy Anthropology is giving away one of her adorable Scrappy Bags!

The "Scrappy" Bag is made using pieces of different fabric.

Because each bag is made using "scraps" of fabric, no two bags are alike.
Each bag has a different front and back...

Each bag measures around 6X6 (give or take an inch)...

Each bag is a mix of cotton and linen, the bags are lined with
100% cotton and are padded with a fused lining.

Aren't they adorable? I love the heart appliques. The winner will get to pick their choice of any scrappy bag from the shop!

Paige sent me over a little "get to know ya" info...so take it away girl!

Hi, I'm Paige, I blog and create pretty things over at Artsy Anthropology.

At age 3 I was enthusiastically pouring glitter on my babysitter's couch, at 5 my cousin threw up in my precious bag of crayons on the way to Disneyland,  at 8 I was doing pastel and watercolor paintings, at 12 I was obsessed with lanyards and macrame, at 16 I spent  a lot of time doodling and drawing, 18 was my crocheted beanie phase, 21 was my attempt at cake decorating... and now at 25 I spend at least 70% of my time working in the "studio", sketching new product ideas, doing blog design or stalking other bloggers on Twitter and Instagram.

Both of my parents have always encouraged me in my "creativity"... my mom's laundry room wall is plastered with all of my early artwork and my dad used the same hand-made coaster at work every day for like 20 years.  I am very lucky that from an early age they supported and fostered my creativity.  From day one, dad was out there teaching me that red and green made brown (really so do most colors when you mix them)... and mom was adding paint and lace to oversize shirts to make me fun little sleepers - so it was always a great balance for me between being the dad's outdoors girl and the crafty kid with the paint and chalk.

I'm creative by nature, inquisitive by design and sarcastic because the man upstairs has a sense of humor (and you don't survive my family without sarcasm).  On any given day, I am probably sewing in my "studio" (cough, area of my room) with a coffee and some type of stretchy pants... I am honest, quick, witty and stubborn and I'd love to meet you so please come visit me in my little corner of the universe, let's chat.

Thanks so much for the fun giveaway Paige!
