We are finally getting the house back in order after having the floors refinished. Unfortunately, our room switch-a-roo didn't happen because of unforeseen issues with moving our TV cable. {boo}

So for now, our dining room and family room spaces remain the same.

Over the weekend we moved the dining room furniture back into the shiny new floored room, and I was able to get our china hutch all decked out for fall.

{a little late considering I'm ready to decorate for Christmas in like...2 seconds}

I really love how the shades of aqua and orange make it pop...

I've never wanted to put the boys in matching outfits but I might have to make an exception with this one.

I've been spending a lot of time with my good friend, yarn, lately.

My lovely friend, and talented photographer, Kelly, purchased one of my knitted cocoons for her infant photoshoots and a few days ago she shared this picture on her blog...

Ahhhhhh....I was smiling for hours!

I've had some time to work on crafty projects lately which has done my head and heart a lot of good.

Here are a few scrapbook pages of my crazy boys...

And a baby/toddler hat I made on my knitting loom...

I absolutely love the color and feel of the yarn I used. It will probably end up in my Etsy shop unless someone snatches it up. If you want to order one in a different color let me know - I can do two colors as well and add a pom pon to the top which would be super cute. I made a smaller one in this same color for my friend Kelly to use in her newborn photo shoots...can't wait to see it on a new little life!
