Etsy Sale!

OK friends...so everyone in the house but me is still asleep! So I'm working!

I updated my Etsy shop and got the crazy idea to reduce the price of all of my prints by $5.

Yep!

So all 5x7's are $10 and 8x10's are only $13!

Grab a few prints for Christmas gifts, or for your house, or your office, or a friend, or...well you get the idea. 😁

***And if you are local, use the code "SHIPSONME" for free shipping if you want to pick up your order!

I also reduced the price on my super cute fall printable set to $8 because I love you. Yeah that's right. I LOVE YOU!

Happy Shopping!

New Fall Printable

Happy Monday friends!

How was your weekend? Mine was filled with board meetings for work, BUT I'm off today and enjoying a quiet morning at home so that certainly helps.

You know what else helps? A cute new fall inspired printable set in my Etsy shop!

I created this set with scrapbooking in mind, but it would be lovely for using in your planner, art journal, or journaling bible!

The set includes over 30 stickers/die cuts and four patterned papers.

I like to print the image sheets on either white or clear full sheet label paper to create stickers. And I used white cardstock for the papers, although you could certainly use sticker paper if you wanted to!

Last night I pulled out a mini album to start working on a fall instagram photo book (even though I haven't printed any photos yet - those will come!)

If you want to see a bit of my process with this, you can check out my Instagram stories, but hurry because they will only be available through today!

This set also coordinates well with my latest Illustrated Faith set. A girl can never have too many fall leaves or coffee cups in her sticker collection, am I right?

Sending lots of happy fall vibes your way,

New Product!

Happy Sunday evening friends!

OK so if you've been following along in my Instagram stories you'll know that I:

1. Got a new planner and am a bit obsessed. This is the one I got and I'm LOVING IT!

2. Created a set of planner stickers because WHY NOT?! :)

The sticker set is a printable PDF page with 42 stickers including florals, washi tape strips, flags, reminder banners, a variety of square stickers, and the all important (and super adorable) coffee date stickers!

Here are a few shots of them in action in my own planner...

If you grab the set I would love to see how you use them! Tag me on Instagram @mandyfordart with your pictures!

New Printables!

Happy Tuesday friends!

How is your week going? The weather here in Indiana is GORGEOUS today and I'm soaking in the sunshine and spring blooms.

I have two new printables in my Etsy shop to tell you about today!

I was so excited about creating my bible journaling kit for Illustrated Faith that I dreamed up a few more for my Etsy shop...

These embellishments can be used for bible & art journaling, scrapbooking, or mixed media art. And the long embellishments make perfect bookmarks!

Click on the images above to find them in my shop!

Decorating around a HUGE TV

We recently moved our TV to a different wall in our family room, and for the first time I had a huge empty wall to decorate around this big black box.

In the past we had our TV above the fireplace (our first house) and most recently it was on a half wall. So this was new territory for me!

Obviously what was on that wall before the TV was there wasn't working...

And I hadn't changed anything on that wall in ummm...5 years or so. It was definitely time for a change!

I knew I wanted to create a fun collage to frame the TV, and my inspiration started with this butterfly artwork Landon created in art camp last summer.

I love everything about it!

Of course the fact that my 8 year old made it is the best part. But the image is so lovely, especially the colors. I found a shadow box frame for it at Hobby Lobby, and covered the board behind it with sticky chalkboard paper to make the art really pop.

And then I started gathering more artwork and other pieces that coordinated.

The hexagon shelf was an idea I had pinned a long time ago, so I was excited to pick one up, also at Hobby Lobby, along with the four artwork. The cute little faux succulent is from Target, and the adorable peacock house is from Things with Wings.

Here is the finished (I think) wall...

I might still do some tweaking. Not totally sure about the arrow in the lower left, but for now I'm calling it a day.

"Kind people" artwork from Natural Life, and what my husband refers to as a "giant paper plate holder" 😂 is a thrifted basket from Goodwill. "Dream" canvas is one of my licensed pieces from METcolors.

My other favorite piece on this wall is this landscape painting made by Ben, also in art camp this past summer.

(We LOVE art camp!)

Home sign also by Things with Wings, and lovely hand artwork by Mary Wangerin.

The turquoise piece is a trivet from Hobby Lobby!

And another sweet spot are these candles and mini (faux) succulent on the TV cabinet...

And now I want to redo basically every wall art we have in the house. My husband is thrilled. 😉

Cheers to the weekend!

{a November exhale}

Hello out there!

Is anyone still with me over here on my lonely blog?

November has been a bit of a doozy hasn't it?

Are you feeling that way too?

Mine has looked a bit like this: I started back to work which was in itself a big shift. I also spent the entire last week sick with a nasty sinus infection and chest cold that I'm finally on the other side of. And I had an art sale last weekend. And oh yeah...there was an election.

Deep exhale.

I've found myself medicating with cozy sweaters and of course lots of coffee.

And cat cuddling...

As well as doing my best to be kind to everyone I encounter...

Especially those who might feel extra tender and scared right now.

Have you needed to implement extra self care this month? What have been your methods?

With Thanksgiving two days away, I know most of us are also probably feeling some sort of pressure or tension. Whether it be with making sure the meal is prepared, or spending time with family you don't necessarily see eye-to-eye with or...

Another deep exhale.

Stick with what you know is good and true, and let the rest slide away. That's my best advice. And maybe a bit of this...

We really are all in this together. And I hope in some small way I can help you feel encouraged today.

And now on to some fun art news!

I'm working on putting together a new printable holiday coloring book! Here are a few sneaks at the pages in progress...

I'll have it in my Etsy shop soon!

And I'm working on a Black Friday/Small Business Saturday/Cyber Monday Etsy sale. I'll share details very soon once I figure them out! 😂

Oh, AND if you are local, I'll be selling lots of my illustrated goodies at Roscoe's Coffee Bar on Friday, December 2nd from 6-8 pm...

There will also be a bunch of other amazing local artists selling their creations. So come see me and do some Christmas shopping! (Follow the event on Facebook)

Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving (my American friends!) and times of rest and perhaps a few more deep exhales during this busy holiday season.

Lots of love,
