{woozy for druzy}

Yes, we all know I have a thing for jewelry.

Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings...I give them all equal attention.

I've noticed a lot of druzy pieces lately and I'm in love with the natural, earthy quality of the stones. They also take me back to my rock collecting days when I was a child. I had a few geodes and pieces of agate in my collection and I soooo wish I still had them.

Here are a few pieces I've pinned from searching Etsy...

{Style Made Easy with No nonsense}

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of No nonsense. All opinions are 100% mine.

Tights are one of my favorite cold weather accessories, so when Hanes No nonsense sent me a pair of their patterned tights and leggings to try out, I was super excited. My favorite work outfit during fall and winter is a comfy sweater, skirt, tights/leggings and boots, so I couldn't wait to try put together some new looks with their products. No nonsense tights and leggings are also sold in mass retail and drug stores, so they are easy to find and also very affordable.

No nonsense sent me a great pair of brown patterned tights to try out. They are a really fun design and so soft and comfortable...

I paired them with some of my favorite pieces for a casual but also work appropriate outfit...

These tights would also be fun paired over some opaque tights, since they have an open weave and aren't super warm...

They also sent me a pair of apple red corduroy leggings. I have to admit that the red totally threw me off...it isn't a color that I typically gravitate toward. But the minute I put them on I fell in love with how comfortable and soft they were...

I decided to pair the bold red with other shades of the same hue...a pink top, maroon infinity scarf, and deep pink flower ring...

These leggings are perfect with a skirt and boots for the cold winter months.

No nonsence is excited to introduce Jill Martin as their new brand ambassador. Jill is not only a fashion expert, she is also an Emmy Award-winning TV personality and co-author of the New York Times bestselling style guide “I Have Nothing to Wear!” She is also the New York Correspondent for Access Hollywood.

Here is a fun video of Jill telling us about all of the great new tights No nonsense has to offer:

Doesn't that video make you want to go out and buy every color they offer? I know it encourages me to branch out and try colors other than my typical gray, brown and black.

You can also visit No nonsense on Facebook and on Twitter to keep up with all of their latest products and trends!

Thanks so much to Hanes and No nonsense for including me in the launch of this exciting new line!

{fall fashion wish list...tights}

So far I've shared with you my fall fashion wish lists for scarves and comfy, oversized sweaters. Today is devoted to one of my absolute favorite fall fashion items....tights!

I love nothing more than pulling on a cute pair of patterned or colored tights with a skirt and boots for work. It is my ultimate work wardrobe. But for some reason, my tights collection right now is really dismal. I have one dark green pair, and the rest are black, gray and brown. So I put together a little wish list of tights that I would love to have in my closet.

I love everything about this picture...from the cabled tights to the fall hues...

These polka dot tights are fun and quirky...

LOVE these peacock feather tights from Kohl's in a bold turquoise...

It is hard to see the pattern on these but I love how they were paired with a flowy dress and boots...

Lisa Leonard proves here that off white tights can totally work if you accessorize them well...

This mustard and navy combo is really lovely...

And I love these bold tights mixed with more neutral clothing and accessories...

Do you love to wear tights? Have you ventured out into bold colors or do you stick with the neutrals?

{necklace refashion}

You all, I'm obsessed with jewelry making now.

And not even my current jewelry collection is safe.

I've had an inexpensive turquoise beaded necklace from Forever 21 for a few years now. While I loved the color and the design, I wasn't in love with the length. It was super short. So the other day I had a light bulb moment and pulled out my jewelry making tools and a few simple findings and beads to turn it into a new piece that would be much more wearable.

Here is the necklace before...

And a neck shot to give you a better idea of how short the necklace was...

First, I removed the chain with my jewelry making tools, and added a set of three white beads to either side...

and then finished it off with a new chain so the necklace would hang much longer...

I am in love with how it turned out...and I know it will be getting A LOT more wear time now than it ever had before.

Have your refashioned or re-purposed any of your jewelry? I would love to see your projects!
