The weather warmed up quite a bit here in Indiana this past week, so my outfits aren't quite as cozy as they were last week. Kind of nice to break out the short sleeves and bare ankles for a few more days. :)

The hubby and I celebrated 8 years of marriage yesterday by getting out of town for a bit while the boys hung out with their Nana and Papa.

We crossed the border...

I wore my favorite brown corduroy flats and carried a perfect fall bag...

Had some yummy Mexican food...

I tortured him with a photo...

And we ended the day with yummy coffee drinks from Panera for the ride home.

It was a perfect day...lovely weather just like the day we got married. And just for fun, here we are enjoying the dinner at our wedding reception...

We saw lots of punkins {I just love how the boys call them that} yesterday when my Mom took us to the local orchard. By far one of my favorite and most anticipated of fall activities.

We picked out two perfectly toddler sized punkins, drank cider slush {the boys had theirs out of cute little apple and pumpkin shaped cups} and took A LOT of pictures. I just can't help myself. So here are my faves...

The only crazy part of the day was the swarm of bees that attacked our picnic table. Here we are before the swarm...

And after...in the back of Mom's car :)

So now we have our punkin fix for the year! Not that I wouldn't mind going back again. :)

 Happy Friday Friends!

It is a GORGEOUS fall day here in Indiana and I'm feeling very blessed and grateful today. So how about a little love list to kick off the weekend?

1. The new Smash line from K&Co...

Oh my little scrapbooker's heart about exploded when I saw these amazing new books. Life has been way too hectic the past year or so to scrapbook but I think if I had one of these in my pretty little hands it would seem doable. The books come with a pen/glue stick and have pre-printed pages with fun graphics. I can't wait to get my hands on one!

2. This adorable spoon from Jessica N Designs...

I would love to have this cute little number to stir my morning coffee.

5. And finally but certainly not least...OCTOBER!

Ahh how I love this month. I got engaged and married in this lovely month {8 years married on the 11th!}. This month of bright orange trees and clear blue skies...sweaters and boots...pumpkins and apple cider. I don't see how a month could get any lovelier.

The weather here is supposed to be beautiful all weekend so I'm excited about spending a lot of time outside with the boys and hopefully take a trip to the orchard. What are you loving today?

 The title for this post should actually be "boys who won't pose for Mommy in their cute outfits" but I thought that was a bit too long. :)

On Saturday my Mom and I took the boys to our local fall festival, and the high temp for the day was only in the 50's. I was just a tad excited to pull out their sweaters and dress them up. A toddler in a sweater = cutest thing ever, right?

But here is what I got when I asked them to pose for me.

But miracle of miracles, right before we headed out the door, they let me snap this one with my phone...

And then yesterday {when the temp was in the high 70's!} they were perfect little posers for me in the back yard...

{can you see the big goose egg right between Landon's eyes? Poor guy bumped his head at the playground the other day}

And this one cracks me up...I asked them to hug and took the picture too early, so it looks like Landon is going in for a choke hold...
