{happy}

Happy October!

I'm feeling so inspired today and so in love with fall. Every year I look forward to that feeling - can't quite put it into words - but any other fall lover can relate. It just puts me in a happy, introspective, warm and cozy mood.

The weather here has turned chilly rather quickly and I'm one happy camper because my sweaters are out of their hiding places. Fall is my favorite wardrobe time of the year because I love sweaters, tights, boots and scarves (and if I can fit them all into one outfit that's even better!)

Yesterday I wore one of my favorite newer sweaters to work - it is a fun and very fallish shade of green. I paired it up with a gray lightweight shirt and tights, my denim skirt and brown boots. I was feeling quite cozy.

Today I'm wearing a lot less color (just gray and black) but I love what I'm wearing. I think the black beaded necklace from Forever 21 adds just enough sparkle.

I also have to add that I love fall foods - warm meals like beef stew, fresh apple butter on homemade biscuits, pumpkin pie, and of course candy corn!

Are you as equally in love with fall as I am? What are your favorite parts of the season?

Oh, and two other reasons that I love October...

I met this guy online...

And we got married...

October is a pretty great month.

I <3 October :) I love the green sweater! I wish I could shed the rest of this baby weight and wear some cute sweaters (uh, even though I'm in AZ where it was in the 90's today, lol).

At this time last year I was imagining how much fun it would be to dress my baby up in a Halloween costume! I can't wait to make pumpkin seeds, light up my pumpkin spice candles and carve jack-o-lanterns!
