If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you that whatever you are struggling with, you may think you can't handle, but you are most certainly qualified.

I would tell you that you are growing and learning, and through this hard stuff you are becoming even more of the person you are meant to be.

I would tell you to keep moving forward, to remember to take deep breaths, and to not feel guilty for that extra dash of cream and sugar in your cup.

My Pattern Camp group has weekly challenges and the last two have been really fun and gotten me out of my comfortable box of typical motifs. The first was to create artwork inspired by Mexican folk art and this is what I came up with after some Pinterest searching for inspiration...

And this week's challenge is terrariums which were SUPER fun to draw...




Of course I'm a bit obsessed with these in real life too. Faux succulent lovers unite!

It has been a doozy for me going back to work but I'm happy to report I'm hanging in there with the help of my trusty coffee, a slightly embarrassing amount of candy, (THANK YOU HALLOWEEN!) and a yummy fall scented candle in my window.
