I've never been one to get into politics, but the events that are unfolding tonight are so monumental. I'm tearing up watching the news coverage and the massive crowds of people celebrating Obama's impending victory. What a joy to see the tide of our country changing. I feel blessed to be a part of this.

he wasn't the change we needed. It's a very sad day for our nation, although I too am thankful to be a part of this day. Today we have a black president, which is indeed something to celebrate, I only wish we'd waited for a black president who was qualified. Tonight, I'm tearful also.
It is amazing. I'm so excited to see the change unfold.
I'm sorry you feel that way Jenessa. I don't feel that John McCain was the change we needed either, but I've kept my opinions to myself when reading your blog. I think it is a joyful day for our nation and I hope that Obama proves that to be true.
Very well said, Mandy! I am so excited and hopeful for the future!
I'm sorry Mandy - I didn't mean to upset you. Your opinions are always welcome on my blog - that's what it's for! I of course hope you're right!
bruised,
Jenessa
