{lime + cherry = love}

Summer hit us early and fast here in Indiana. May was more like July. Same for June. I'm usually not a complainer about summer, but it has also been unreasonably humid. Add that to the fact that we don't have central air in our house (we do have a window unit in the family room thank GOODNESS) and I'm a tad cranky (and sweaty but we'll ignore that.)

My newest addiction that helps to beat the heat just a little bit is cherry limeade. Mmmm...

My love for the limeade started at Sonic. They do it best.



Then none other than Taco Bell (my first job ever by the way) decided to jump on the bandwagon, and I must say that for $1.69 their version is pretty amazing.



They even add a REAL lime slice. Real lime at Taco Bell. Craziness.

Then, when I was in the grocery the other day, a light bulb went off.

I bought some of this...



And a jar of these...



And now I can make my own cherry limeade at home whenever I want!

Heaven. You should really try it. :)
